This battery powered motion activated lamp is perfect for lighting up my electrical panel area of my house. I wanted that otherwise dark area to be illuminated if anyone approached it. The sensitivity of the motion detector is just right. Installation was simple. The light is battery powered so no hard wiring was needed. It is a good product.
Excellent for outside of the house. Very bright light, good motion detection. Highly recommend. Batteries last a year or more. I also use inside for closets.
I would like it to have longer range when it turns on
I puschased two lights. One light lights my garage door so we can see the key slot. The door and frame is all white. The street light across the street is not bright enough to see much at my door but, it is able to interfere with the light sensing circuits. I had to aim the light away from the door to get away from the reflected light. Now I have less light on the key hole than I would like. The second light is in the garage to light up a walk path to the house entry door. This is does very well. Take note of the rubber gasket when you open the battery compartment if you intend outdoor use. It may have been improperly installed at the manufacturing site resulting in a ruined weather seal.
Got product and put new batteries in and nothing worked. Haven't had time to return it.
