I've had it for 1 week now. I'm very impressed. It came with 2 lithium ion batteries (small batteries with a strong punch) (i needed them both). Takes about 6-7 hours to charge. Line feeds automatically no tapping. No problems yet...So far I love it. Remember to fully charge after every use. This way you wont diminish the power of your batteries. Enjoy yours.
Works as I expected it to. If someone claims it doesnot, then they are using it where a more powerfull tool should be used. Longer run time on the batteries would be nice,but I imagine it would be as heavy as a gas model. So proper planning prevents poor performance!
I like this product. I have used as trimmer and edger, but the reason I bought was the mower attachment. I have a small hill and my regular mower is hard to use on. This solved the problem. Battery Good 15 to 20 minutes, did buy a fast charger to work longer. Trimmer works well!
finally this summer my old rechargeable trimmer started to lose it's charge sooner. after researching trimmers online i choose the black and decker trimmer. as soon as i got it and took it out of the box i loved it. it was easy to assemble and it came with a extra battery (the description online said it came with one battery). i charged it for 12 hours over night as recommended. gave it a try the next day and boy was i in for a treat. it was so easy to trim my yard and was able to trim the entire yard with one charge.
I love this weedwacker! It is so light to I can easily use it for as long as it takes to get the job done. The "mower" attachment is great for larger patches that I still can't get with my riding mower. I can get 15 minutes working time from each battery included. I recently bought an additional larger battery and that gives me 30 minutes. It is high powered and does the job without using gas. It is easy to use. I simply love this tool!
I just bought one of these and absolutely love it! Where have I been? I’ll never go back to using a cord! This trimmer is so easy and fun to use that I went back there the store and bought a cordless blower. The little 20v to be exact. After watching a few videos on these I am so glad I went with Black and Decker! Kudos on a great product!
I purchased this trimmer a few weeks ago as I needed a tool that was easy to handle on my 75ft x 300ft property. For my purposes, this trimmer was fantastic. Light-weight, easy to handle, no cords to drag behind, no messing around with gasoline. Only gave it 4 stars because even with 2 batteries I couldn't quite finish the trimming in my whole yard before having to recharge them, but in all fairness I did put it through a pretty rigorous work out. Love this trimmer!
This is my first cordless trimmer. I was comparing the 18v, 20v, and 24v trimmers. I wanted a 24v, but they were sold out or too expensive. I live on a 3/4 acre lot and one battery was more than enough to finish the job. I like how you can rotate the motor 180 degrees for easy edging. I have not looked yet, but I am hoping B&D has an optional blade attachment. I have already used half of the string spool after trimming my yard twice.
Trimming is all about the hard " to get at " little bits in your yard. Cordless and light will get the job done. Bonus the Lithium battery powers other Back & Decker tools which are also available on line at Walmart ,usually in limited quantities so hurry in for those summer jobs that need doing or for Father's Day .
It was so easy to put together and operate!!! I have not had to change the spool yet so I hope that is just as easy. I was able to trim my back yard which has a lot to trim around and the battery lasted with no problems. I hope it continues to work this great!!!
