I've been looking for a double wide lounge chair for several years but the cost was always too high. I have 2 large dogs that love to sit in the sun with me. Thought I would take a chance on this one from Wal-Mart. I'm very pleased with the quality. The only thing I added was 2 wheels on the one end making it easier to move around the back yard. I would highly recommend this product. Get it now so you have plenty of time to enjoy yourself the rest of the summer.
picked up with mini van - asked store to load box content only - took less than 40 min. to fully functional assemble; all required parts + threaded holes lining up + precise description and pictoral diagrams made it very easy to put together; 3 points: 1. armrest front should be curved as back is; 2. more velco strap points needed than only existing 2 on each cusion; 3. dead center is a structural reinforcing member that protrudes the strapping for each side - thus don't flop down dead center to try unit out .... realistically, this unit should not cost more than $150.00 - and none - from whom ever is worth more than $250.00 - consumer be prudent ...
I was surprised at the quality of this lounger. The base is well made, sturdy, and was not difficult to assemble. It took my teen granddaughters about 45 minutes. All the assembly items were included. The cushion is well made and cushy. The only thing was a metal bar that runs along the width for support, could use a little extra padding. I solved that by putting another cushion I had on top of the one it came with. I had been looking for a chaise that would hold me and the dogs comfortably. This is it. The others I looked at in various stores and on line, were not well made, too big for my small screened porch or over $1,000! So you can see, this was a bargain compared to others and I did not sacrifice comfort or quality. We love it!!!
this lounger was easy to put together, for someone with common sense and a pink tool kit. very comfortable, and perfect for two adult, or 1 mom and 2 babies.... because everyone loves to lay on it, now!
I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised... Pad not very thick and will need to be replaced eventually.
This lounge chaise was cheep/cheep so it not perfect. The frame is good and strong and will last many years. The cushions are the weak point. They are thin and soft and would not be good for heavy or large persons. But for an average person they will be ok. My plan is to buy new thick cushions next season. I have shopped around there is nothing on the market that comes close to this price for a double chaise lounge. I can't even find good cushions for what I paid for the lounge and cushions. You get what you pay for, in this case you get way more than you are paying for, but remember your not paying top dollar so don't expect top quality. I purchase two chaises. The first one I assembled using the tools supplied it took one hour. The second one I used 10mm socket w/ratchet and cut the assembly time in half.
I should have spent some more money and purchased the orbit lounger that I really wanted. This lounger is comfortable, however it's not as nice as the round orbit lounger. The cushions are nice, but not very thick and will wear quickly. The lounger does not lie completely flat which is something I really wanted it to do. There are two sections on the seat area and one cushion, so if you sit in the middle, you can feel a bar. Very easy to put together. It took less than an hour and it looks nice, however if you want real comfort, spend more money and get something nicer.
Cushions has no support. It's a cheap foam and the fabric covering them is of poor quality. It came broken.
The color of the cushions is not as pictured. The color is spicy mustard or peanut butter ( I'm not sure which color is worse for patio cushions) it is definitely NOT brown as described. The chair it's self is nice, even though I now have the added expense of replacing the nasty color cushions.
This item was very difficult to assemble. The cushions are pretty thin and you sink down very low. The worst thing about this product is that the color does not arrive as advertised. In the picture it looks like a rich brown color. When they arrived, they are a hideous olive green color. It is completely different then what they are selling. I would have returned this product if the shipping wouldn't have cost so much. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.
