I decorated my office with a Caribbean Cabana Theme and this tiki bar is the perfect fit! It is of better quality than expected for the price and very functional. Walmart had the absolute VERY best price by FAR out of ALL competitors. I attached a photo of the final product displayed in my office and....enough said.

Much better than I expected for the price. Easy to put together, I'm just disappointed they are out of stock because I wanted to order another one and put them side by side to make a longer bar.
Purchased this Tiki Bar to bring along to book fairs. When the thatched roof is removed, the bar fits perfectly in the back of our SUV. When it needs to be set up, it is an easy 5 min. process. Bar was labeled with "A" "B" tags for very easy assembly. Had to work a little to get some poles to slide down into their position, but nothing too difficult. Probably spent about 30 min. from box to bar. There were a few screws missing from the box but they were easily replaced by going to our own tool box. Would recommend putting screws into a plastic sealed bag vs. just leaving them inside the box. Not 100% confident in the thatched roof just sitting up on top of the two planks of wood without being attached somehow. Unless we missed something in the directions, it just balances up there and seems a strong wind could bring it down. Perhaps it should be screwed on or something, but the overall design is simple and just what we were looking for. Kinda rugged and very caribbean island bar :)
This was very hard to put together because the pre drilled holes did not match up to other pre drilled holes when you had to put the pieces together and screw in. i had to redrill holes to try and match them up, just alot more work then you expected....but it does look great after it's finally done.
It is real bamboo structure. Much heavier than expected, so I won't completely consider it portable. Nothing matched up, no strait edges or level. I completely rebuilt the thing to make it sturdy and usable. It wasn't a bad purchase but since I had to do so much to make it work, I guess it deserves 2-3 stars
This Tiki Bar looks great after set-up. It has brought our team at work together and has been a hit as everyone loves it. The only negative feedback I have about it is the difficulty of building it. Some pieces were missing, the bag of parts was ripped before we even open the box leading to pieces all over the place, and the instructions were made in the stone age era. There are only five steps; however, they are not consistent with the parts. The instructions tell the builder to put A1 in A2 and S1 and S2 together. If you were to rely solely on the instructions, you wouldn't be able to tell the different nails apart as the pictures are all the same. I had to look at a picture of a bar someone else had built before to figure out where the pieces went (keeping in mind that this picture was not zoomed in or super detailed). After finally figuring out how all the pieces went together, I was able to complete the project and now it looks great as we added our own decorations.
Product is very cute and suits my needs as a decorative item for a party. However the construction is average. The directions are terrible but fortunately I am "mechanically inclined". Several of the holes did not line up as they should and some posts were too large to fit during assembly. Screws were too long for the roof. When some adjustments using a drill and whittling down some areas, I made it work.
I was very disappointed with this purchase. It wasn't until most of it was together that I noticed cracks (some significant) throughout the bamboo pieces. The best part is, there is nothing to attach the roof to the rest of the bar; it barely balances on top and has fallen off several times. We need this for a fundraising event and will now have to have someone try to attach the roof and fix all of the broken bamboo pieces. I would've brought it back if I could but it would've been more of a pain to take apart and won't fit as is into a truck to bring back to Wal-Mart. Would not recommend AT ALL.
This item did not meet my expectations. It is poorly made and very difficult to assemble. The screw holes did not line up.... directions were hard to follow. Some parts had come apart and needed to be re-glued. Screws stick out. It is cute once put together, but not worth the money!
