As others have said, it is a bit hard on the hand to staple with, but that said, the staples do go into very hard wood all the way and stay put. It's got the feel of a good machine that isn't weak or about to break when you use it as it's all metal. I recommend this to most people with decent hand strength.

I have used other brands (Arrow, Bostitch) and have always concluded that the Stanley 110 most consistently delivers staples where they need to go. I almost never have issues with jamming. Staples are secured into a variety of materials at the same depth. The stapler lasts for years. I like reading reviews that help differentiate and point out one best model over others, so I hope this helps!
We bought this item because it was time to put up the Christmas lights and we didn't have one. This thing is amazing! No jams. No misfires. Just good, clean stapling. Easy to line up where the staples are going to impact the surface, so it was reassuring knowing I wasn't going to get electrocuted while i was putting the lights up.
This is great for around the home projects. At least that is what I am using it for. It is a bit hard to squeeze the handle down to staple, but I think that will loosen up a bit over time and use. It has a convenient clasp to hold the handle down when not in use, so it takes less room to store and prevents accidental stapling. Recommend highly!
Superior quality, but clearly made for hands that are big, strong, and rough as the trigger is nearly impossible for a woman's hands to successfully manipulate. I would buy it for my dad, brother, uncle, nephew, or son - but not for a woman.
Easy to use
I searched for one that had the reverse handle and there were none available. I purchased this one because I've had this type of Stanley staple gun before. They work well enough and last a pretty long time, and I needed one right away as my old one jammed and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I don't like that pressure is put on the back of the tool when the staple comes out of the front. I don't like that the staples go in upside down from the bottom though it is better to be able to see the whole chamber. It's just weird. It will do until I find what I really want. Then it will become my backup. It's not a bad tool, I would recommend it to friends, it's just not exactly what I was looking for.
I am a fan of Stanley products and we're so happy to receive it. however it does not come with staples. useless to me. I will be returning it
If there were no stars that is what this gun would get, Oh it'll work for a little while then it just stops we have 5 of these about every other or every ten times you push it, it might spit a staple out. Cheap and not worth your time, money or effort. I am sick of buying stuff that don't last I will never buy one again.
