The Critic is a really funny series that transcends time. Most of the humor comes from everyday problems which can affect all, this is especially true since most of the United States has some sort of weight problem. Jay Sherman is the epitome of the modern man....life is one big problem! I really wish it would be renewed since his comedy is edgy yet not offensive. Buy it and watch it for a cheap laugh.
The boxset is the series that I remember. I'm glad that it was available for purchase. I'm currently watching now. Loved this show. Would love to see more of it, but alas it has long been canceled.
