You simply cannot beat the price of this filter. I bought four, and will buy more. Filters generally last 60 days in my house, whether they are of medium quality or of the super expensive high quality. As long as you don't buy those cheap green filters, I'm convinced that they perform about the same. I highly recommend this one for the price.
My children have extreme indoor/outdoor allergies. I have shopped around trying to find home air filters at a good price and quality... if you need get a good filter for indoors this filter is great for price and quality. I have bought filters that cost in upwards $10 - $19 for just ONE filter. I need at least 3 filters for the oulets in my home. Some of the retailers thaat sell in bulk..sell them 3 to a pack for approx. $40. I am quite pleased witht he quality. During the summer we run the A/C at night..I've noticed that the children are waking up lest conjested that normal when I began using these filters. Do you research ..you'll see that his is a really good price for a decent filter.
I probably should have purchased a filter with a higher MERV number. This some days dust reduction but I hadn't noticed. Surely it's effective for the HVAC unit - replacing regularly is important and it's likely sufficient to maintain the unit - just not great if you have allergies or want noticeable dust reduction. Go by MERV always and ignore marketing on packaging.
good a/c filter. Doesn't have to be changed but every few months and then when it's due to be changed, it doesn't look so clogged. I have two cats and the ceiling fans get more fur on them than the a/c filter. The price is decent in today's inflation. I would recommend
First time purchasing this product and I am pleased. It's been couple weeks and very little to no extra dust the furniture. Breathing has been much better no headaches so far. Will for sure purchase another in a couple of days to replace the current one.
Filters arrived on time but damaged. With filters you would think they'd be put in a box to prevent damage. That was not the case. Came like if you were to buy in store. So one was ripped and bent at bottom, other bent. Spoke with Wal-Mart customer service and received refund but figured I'd let others know that there is no packaging for filters.
I purchased this product using the Site to Store process. Fortunately I opened the box while still in the store and noticed that the product was definitely not as well made as the Purafilter 2000 that can be purchased for approx. $1 more in the store. Returned the Filtrete filter immediately.
Very...Very...Very BAD packing, I can't even use this filter it is bent, ripped and smashed!!! Your picker/packer needs some serious training.....This was not the fault of of the delivery the box was in perfect shape....the cause was the packer trying to fit a 16"x20"x 1" product into a 16"x18"x14" box!!! I am disabled and on a very tight budget and can't run my furnace without it!!!! Not to mention all the delays!!! This is just UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I saw these online and thought they were a bargain. However, they arrived damaged in a big flimsy box stuffed with paper. The filters were bent and out of shape with no possibility of being used. The quality of the filters are not that great either. The box is big and cumbersome and not worth the cost of gas trying to get them back to the store for a return so I will toss them since I can't use them. I have ordered a different kind of filter from Walmart in the past and the quality was much better. You get what you pay for and these are not a bargain.
2nd time in 2 weeks my delivery was not placed by my front door as requested. I'm handicapped and can't move 45 pound of dog food up a ramp. i want a refund and my membership cancelled!
