Loved when changed filter could tell the difference
Love everything plus the price
Plan to get shipped delivery in a huge cardboard box. And lots of dunnage
I have a historic home we recently updated with central heat %26 ac. 12x12 filters are hard to find. These are fabulous and have seen a reduction in dust
Good quality and a decent price. Have paid a much higher price elsewhere.
My a/c guy was mad that I bought these for both vents, as within a week he showed me how dirty one was anyway. He said the same thing my father always said. They make your AC work harder and last half as long as the old blue ones. So I ordered old blues online, and apparently I need to dust.
It is really very flimsy. It is single layer filter which will not survive long. As per label, it is only for 3 months.
Wondered why it took so long to warm the house and seemed to cycle more than usual then this morning it cycled way too often and would not warm the house. Finally realized the arrow for air direction they printed on filter appears to be backwards because the point of arrow is on side without the extra netting that goes on the blower side. I can only hope no damage was done and it already cost me an unnecessary service call.
Support screen on the WRONG SIDE when I bought the 300 last year. I installed it MY way , worked great This year the support strands are on the CORRECT SIDE. You fixed the problem. Now tell people the truth.
Not impressed at all with this filter. Supposed to filter dust but once I installed this filter, (yes, correct way is with copper looking wire facing out from return vent, not on inside) within a few hours my condo smelled like dust was coming in! Musty And Dusty smell all day. I wanted to use a lower merv rated filter to optimize air flow of my HVAC for the summer months, but this filter is a big miss for me. I really don't think it filters much of anything. I'll stick to their higher merv rated filter for cleaner air. Pass on these because the smell and whatever's not being filtered, is not worth it. I wound up going back to the merv 8 filter in the photo on the left. This product is on the right in the photo. 👎🏾
