[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just finished building this shed about 2 weeks ago. I absolutely love it! Here are the pros: The shed is 2x4 frame construction which is exactly what I was looking for, it's so solid and is going to last for a really long time. It did include a floor kit, although I upgraded mine and didn't use the included floor materials. (This kit included 5/8 OSB and I opted to install 3/4 plywood for a smoother finish as I'm converting this into a playhouse). Doors, windows, and vents were all included with all the necessary hardware to install them. Every piece was precut and not one piece was missing, there were also plenty of extra nails of various sizes included with the kit. This specific shed provides 3 options for the door/window placement which was really nice, and I thought it was great that there were instructions pertaining to each configuration. I also liked how the directions were thought out in an order that makes sense to help ensure certain sections are square, level, fit together, etc. You can tell someone spend a good amount of time preparing them and they were easy to follow. The cons: I only had 2 minor issues. 1. One of the siding pieces was cracked towards the end of the piece, but I didn't need to contact customer service as I was still able to easily install and fix that section of the shed on my own. Every other piece was in perfect condition. 2. All of the lumber included with the kit is stamped on the ends with a code so you can find which part you need next. On my kit, all of the stamped letters were so faded that I could not read any of them, so I did have to reference the measurements and measure each piece to make sure I had the correct piece. It'd be nice if there was a better stamp or maybe better yet, a tag on each. Overall I would highly recommend this shed, I don't know what else you could possibly need to beat it. The model I bought and built is a 10 ft x 12, it has tons of room and I love both the look and construction of it. The wall height is also great, with plenty of room to add a loft later on. It's definitely worth the price, especially considering how much time I saved not having to cut and measure all of this myself. If you're on the fence at all, I say go for it, this one is a winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several months of shopping I selected the Hillsdale Gable Shed. It offered the most options for access, lighting, as well as many options to customize the build to my family needs. I went with the Pro-Grade flooring, Felt and Drip Edge for the roof, painting and caulking, additional shelves, and wooden ramps. I also added the Premium Warranty to ensure that this continues to perform to my needs. On the whole, I'm very pleased with the product design, the layout, the premium flooring and the ramps. However, if I had a chance to re-think my purchase I would forego the shelves. The material is about the poorest quality I could imagine for a Made in the USA product. Worse, they were installed incorrectly, then the removal and re-installaton induced even more problems in the already rough surface. I'm considering removing them completely and installing something that won't induce splinters or cuts from the slightest physical contact. Yes, they're really that awful. The opening windows are very nicely screened, with multiple raise points. In fact, as I write this I'm reminded that I left them open since the weekend. The side door and the double doors are a nice quality...and the included locking door handles ensure a solid and secure (well, it's a shed, not a home) barrier to the elements and wandering pests. I wish there was an option for securing the doors in the open position, and especially when I am trying to drive my lawn tractor up the ramp. The doors and the ramp are wide enough to allow easy access and egress, but a windy day makes it a bit more difficult. I may install a couple of door hooks, though I worry how additional holes will affect the longevity of the unit. All in all, I'm rather delighted with the project. I've dropped one star due to the installation challenges and delays that I encountered.
