what is needed when you putn a game camera out on public lands.. before this i had a game camera vandelized.. this added extra security
I liked the overall product. Just wished it was made out of heavier gage steel.
I was pleased with this product although the cable that wrapped around tree could have been a foot or so longer as it is too short to wrap around the average size tree other than this it serves the purpose well
this box does what it supposed to do, as in keeping your camera from being stolen or broke by animals. the lock could be better, was rained on once and now does not work. needs threaded holes to mount camera to the box in the bottom only has two for the top. the price is a little spendy.
This product I thought was of good quality I will probably buy a new padlock for it but contrary ot what I have read on other reviews the actual box seems like it would protect well from damage and theft.
Would not work with any of my 5 cameras.Rather than cut to fit ,I returned it for a refund.
This is the biggest waste of money. It is easily opened with minimum tools. You could even open it with your hands if you tried hard enough. Just use the locks on the unit. The thing is also very clumsy when it comes to design. Overall, the whole thing was way more trouble than it is worth, and I sold mine on Ebay.
Box can be pried open with nothing more than a pair of hands (rendering the lock and cable useless). I just lost a brand new I40 because I was hoping this thing would protect it at least somewhat from theft. Unless you are only looking to protect your camera from wildlife, save your money. This won't even slow down the dumbest of criminals! If you're looking to slow down thieves, you would be better off just using a cable locked to the plastic rings molded onto the camera.
