These Kidde detectors are very nice looking and I plan on mounting them into the walls at my house. But I ordered this Twin Pack for use at work and for my personal use and both times Walmart only sent out a single detector! So there may be a problem with their inventory or stock number. They corrected the situation both times but just be aware that this may happen to you.
Was the exactly placement to the unit already installed 7 yrs ago.
Easy 115V installation with internal battery. Haven't had any issues with false alarms with this one or the previous 1 from 7 years ago. More than just an alarm. Switched SPDT lines. Used to interrupt 5 ganged gas furnaces for a commercial building.
