I have a built in pool that needs the cover drained of Rainwater.Ffor the last couple of years I had the Little Giant which was half the power for double the cost... I hoped for the best... Got it in the water and before I knew it, the cover was clear of water. So, although I just used it one time - if this is how it functions I am thrilled.
Use in a sub basement and it works well. smaller than needed and takes a while to drain water but I would reccomend.
Dismantling our above ground pool and needed to remove the remaining 4=6 inches of water from the bottom. Used the sump pump (Superior) and it worked like a charm, made everything so much easier. Great product!
Before ordering, it was simple to search the website to find the item I wanted. Then it was very easy to order online. The item arrived when it was scheduled.
This little pump performs like a much larger, far more expensive pump. It does all and more than advertised. The garden hose adapter (included) makes it very versatile, solved several problems for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with this great little pump.
Got this little pump to drain my "redneck swimming pool" of gathered rain water. We had drained it for the winter, but rains put about 5" of water in it. This pump had it empty in no time. Inexpensive and handy to operate. Very pleased with my purchase.
We Just needed to purchase a small garden hose to use with pump. It removed the dirty water from our patio pond quick! So make sure you are ready & aiming the other end of the hose where you want water to be.
I am very pleased with the sump pump. The price was excellent and it pumps a lot faster than my previous one.
I used this to pump the water out of a 5000 gallon above ground pool. I had to use 40 feet of garden hose in order to empty into a sanitary sewer opening. It took approximately 12 hours which was quicker than I expected after I had checked the gph rate graph for when the pump is hooked up to different lengths of hoses. Great value for this pump.
Got it $10 cheaper than Amazon and included free shipping. No brainer to set up and worked like a champ draining my 14K gallon pool over 1 1/2 days. Only thing to consider might be to spend a little extra and buy 1/3 or 1/2 hp model. This one was spec'd to pump up to 30 gal/min. but only did around 3 so it took an extra day to drain the pool. (I was pumping thru 50' of hose from 5' pool depth, but still pretty slow).
