I bought this sump pump to replace to an old one. I price was good compared to some other stores. Installation was easy and now I'm up and running again with no problems.
Soon as I had it put it in working just fine

easy to install...It work very well ( quiet)
It needs to include another rubber grommet because you need the second grommet to turn off the pump before the end of the rod (see picture). I have a high water table so I don't want to pump water all the way to the end of the rod. However I'm still giving it 5 stars because it seems very well made, is very quiet, and is powerfull enough to push the water up my pvc pipe. Note the discharge outlet requires a 1 1/4" male screw adapter which you then attach to a check valve which you then connect to 1 1/2" pvc pipe.
I was very impress with this product especially for the cost and I would recommend it to anyone you really can't go wrong plus it was easy to install.
the only issue was, when I received it, I didn't know the flow check valve didn't come with the product. The one from my old pump was broken so I had to get a new one. It took several days to find someone local that sold the size I needed and then had to get adapters to fit it because it needed to be a male fitting. Once I finally got the flow check valve in place and hooked up, it worked like a charm and pumped the water out of my small cellar in a mater of minutes.
The stem of the pump is plastic tube. Which is great because it won't rust, but with the heavy pump fastened to the top, makes the stem unsturdy

This will go back! I assembled it , installed it , double checked everything, plug it, it ran one cycle and then the next cycle there was a smoke. Please walmart, stop selling crappy stuff from China. You wasted 2 hours of my time Walmart .
