I was impressed with this item. It does what it says and more. Will continue to buy this item.
As a Ragdoll Cat Breeder I may have 2 Dozen Kittens in my room at a time plus their parents and other cats. So the chances of my wiring getting chewed are pretty high.My room has a little refrigorator, 2 lamps, a computer, printer , space heater, and sewing machine in it. They are all plugged in and ready to use. Though now that I have them covered, the felines can chew all they want. I don't have to worry about them starting a fire or ruining my electricle things. This gives me real peace of mind! I will be sure and tell all of the people who buy my Kittens about this wonderful product!
The photo in the description is not of the listed product, they are showing a poly pipe insulation product. Pretty careless.
Very difficult to apply to anything other than STRAIT pipe runs. Inadequate R value. Only use would be to prevent condensation on cold strait pipes. Ineffective to prevent freeze damage. Does not allow to be applied to direction- change fittings. Strait pipes are better insulated w/ properly sized FOAM split tubing which is readily available. Cheaper & better is to purchase a small roll of 3- 1/2 fiberglass building insulation , wrap using duct tape & over wrap w/30-33 gal trash bags for vapor barrier.
