The insulation was used around a panel for heat exhaust for a temporary portable cooling unit. The sticky backing held the insulation in place and filled the cracks around the exhaust frame. I would recommend this as a good insulation and space filler to prevent air leaks in hot or cold weather.
Dead of winter now. Cheap, easy Jerry-rig fix: I was surprised at how good this is! Sure it's cheap and somewhat difficult to apply "prettily": On the flip-side, that helps with easy removal/ repositioning. I wouldn't trust it so much applied upon typical latex wall paint--may then attract dust/dirt too. This is far easier to apply than its unwieldy 3/8" "little brother," though.
I have used weatherstrip for years and they work well. They keep the cold out and to purchase a large package like this is very economical. I have never seen a 3 pack in the stores. I highly recommend this weatherstrip and will be purchasing more in the future and the price is wonderful.
Applied around what looks like a not so good self-made patio door. Never used weather stripping product before but it wasn't as easy to apply as I thought / hoped. I thought it would be stickier too. Seems good though. Quick delivery, received on time!
I used it in the garage and it worked well.
Does as it should for draft protection. Would have given 5 stars but was short on length, the last 12 inches was stuck to itself and cardboard tubing.
I hardly ever write negative reviews, but man this product is terrible. It does not stick at all. Not even to your fingers, let alone the door frame. I think the adhesive on a letter envelope is stronger. It just comes off the door frame as you're putting it on. Terrible terrible. Very disappointed as duck brand makes good duct tape.
This product was garbage because that's where it ended up. It did not stick and repeated fell down. I purchased several packs and all were the same. Go with another brand or just use duct tape!
This does not stick at all. As I was putting it up on my door up was fall down. I was trying to do acrobatic moves to put it up and hold it up at the same time. Then try to hold it in place and close my door to see if I closed my door and applied pressure to it see if it would stick. Duck tape brand products are just not what they used to be. They used to be a brand name you could depend and rely on. Not anymore. I bought some Duck Tape brand vent deflectors. The quality was so poor it was ridiculous. I bought some other no name brand ones and the magnets were great and the thickness and quality of the deflectors were great. I think I'm going to move away from Duck Tape brand products because they are going downhill
Did not stick at all! This was a waste of money. I tried using it around my door, but as soon as i even tried to stick it to the door, the adhesive was gone.
