Whitmor chrome, 3-shelf, 36” tall and wide, shelving unit fits perfectly to the one open wall (no shelves or cabinets) in my smallish walk-in pantry. No more cluttered pantry/under cabinet work-area counters! All the pots, pans, bowls, etc. all out of the way. Very easy assembly!
Great add on storage for my kitchen.
Actually using for bedroom closet for additional shelf room. Extremely well made, very sturdy, beautiful looking silver metal. Fairly easy to put together. Fabulous price. Also ordered 2 of the smaller shelves (same depth and height just not as wide). Highly recommend!
Holds a lot of weight, stable. Use it on my lanai under covered area for storage.
I purchased two of these and ordered wheels from Amazon to go with them. With the wheels installed it makes it so much easier to clean that area now. The shelves are very heavy duty and will last longer than I will. Easy to put together even with one person. But would recommend a rubber mallet or hammer with a cardboard bumper to set them permantly.
As advertised and very easy to assemble
These Whitmor shelves are the best. This is probably the 6th one I've ordered. And it is going in a closet. They are literally a "snap"to put together. The hardest thing is deciding how far to space them apart. So easy. I love that the weight capacity is so high, at least 250 lbs per shelf. So you don't have to worry about overloading them. Have yet to see the finish go bad on any of these shelves and some I've had for several years now. I always order the whitmore brand in these type of shelves bc I know the brand is dependable. Some of the others weight capacity is far lower and you never know if you'll need the greater capacity down the road. And they look great too :)
I live in a small apartment and I don't have much much counter space in my small kitchen. After looking all over for a decently priced counter-height table, I gave up when I found this shelf. I put my silverware tray and a long cutting board on the top shelf; my microwave, toaster, and crock pot on the middle shelf; and my pots and pans on the bottom. It took 5-10 minutes to put together, it's very sturdy and it's counter-height, so you can use the top shelf to prepare food on and the other shelves for storage.
We are using this shelving unit to organize a closet. It was perfect for our needs. The shelves are adjustable and it was relatively easy to assemble. Sturdy and looks good too!
The 5-tier version of this is the best value and I have written a more thorough review for that one. The 3-tier matches in style, but the shelving pattern is different for some reason. My particular shelf had a manufacturing error in one of the poles which Whitmor customer service promptly addressed and replaced free of charge. These are good shelves for objects which are stored in bins. Although the shelving levels are adjustable, there aren't too many practical ways to position just three.
