[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago and I love it I plan on buying another one.i have no complaints about the actual shelving unit once it's put up. But it was a giant pain to put together. The little plastic pieces that hold the shelves on don't stay to move the shelf down. It's definitely a 3 person job putting it together.
I wanted shelving that was not permanently attached to the wall that would fit all the 18 gallon totes I already own. From the measurements online I was pretty sure that they would fit the totes, and it does. With all the shelves it will fit 8 18 gallon totes. There is not much clearance but just enough.
Easy to set up, very good price, couldn't even make the shelves for the price I paid plus these let more light show thru and I can change the widths as needed for the future.
This product exceeded my expectations. The shelves were easy to assemble. The instructions were clear. A little patience was needed to slide the shelves down to the clips for securing but with that patience came great success. I used no tools other than scissors to open the packaging. The shelves are well constructed and sturdy. I expect these will last on to my next generation.
very nice heavy duty shelving. Also the shelves are adjustable. We are using them for our new record store and they are working out great !
After reading other reviews I was worried about putting the shelf together. It was a breeze. I 5' 3" and put the shelf together myself. The only problem I had was slipping the individual shelves over the top of the 4 side poles but with patients I did it. I recommend these shelves for any one. There sturdy and hold a lot.
I have had 1 unit for years and when I needed storage units in the basement I ordered 2 of these. Shipping was quick and assembly was easy.. even for one person.

I bought this shelving unit for my son's room. It was easy to put together without tools. The unit is very sturdy and has a nice, contemporary look. It also has smooth edges and is safe. I am happy with the value and quality for the price paid.

I had been looking into getting another shelving unit to help us get more organized. I was excited to try this 5 tier storage rack from Honey-Can-Do. It arrived promptly in good condition. The box was large but not overly heavy. We carried it down to our basement and put it together. It was easy to put together with the two of us. The unit itself seems to be made very well of very durable and strong heavy steel. I like that it has 5 shelves because it allows us to store more things up and off the floor. Overall, this shelving unit is very nice and is just what we were looking for! The only reason I gave it a rating of good instead of excellent is because I really wish each shelf had a flat solid surface. Even some type of removable flat surface. Since the shelves are grated and not solid you can't really store smaller items on the shelves without them falling through. If they can come up with a way to fix that it would be perfect!
