When I first got these pot holders I wasn't sure I would like them, but after the first time using them I like them a lot. First there is a slot where you can slide your hand in for protection and the other side has rubber or silicone lines to help grip what ever you pick up. I do a lot of baking and so pot holders are a big item for me. These Better Homes and Gardens pot holders are some of the best I have ever used. They are quality built to last and the safety of the consumer is first priority. I would recommend these to anyone who bakes just for their safety.
I have pot holders made by Better Homes and Gardens. These pot holders come in a two pack and the ones I have are primarily gray with a little bit of white. These are really nice and thick pot holders that have a soft terry cloth lined pocket to help with gripping. They are quilted, which gives them a nice amount of padding, with a durable heat resistant 100% Oeko-Tex certified cotton shell. One side has the pocket and the other has silicone lines, which appear as white stripes, that aid in gripping. It makes handling hot pots and pans so much easier. The pot holders also have a loop on them that you can use in the event you wish to hang them up. These pot holders are eight inches by eight inches so are a perfect size. The outer shell, terry lining, and the plain fabric lining are all 100% cotton. The fill is 100% recycled polyester. These potholders seem very duarble and are easily cleaned. You can toss them in the washing machine and wash on cold with similar colors. It is recommended you use the delicate cycle, but I just toss mine in with other stuff on a casual cycle. I think you will really love these!
This 2 piece pot holder set is such an eye catcher. Right out the box, I was like wow. The red, vivid color bursts. These comes with gripping and that made it even more for me. It has the sleeves to slide your hands in but your hand doesnt completely disappear. These are just great for me and totally match my kitchen.
So these are really quite surprising- I was not expecting them to work like mitts, but they do! You can put your hands inside of them, and the little band of stitching at the one side allows you to use them like mitts. The silicone grippy stuff helps to make them more effective for grabbing hot items, and the padding is nice and thick. Overall, these are a great addition to any kitchen- I definitely recommend them!
I really like these pot holders with the silicone stripes on the back for grip. Easy to use for opening jars etc.. They are thick, but not too thick and they come in a set of two. The color is nice with the inner color to match the stripes on back. Better Homes and Gardens is a great brand. I have never been dissatisfied with their products. I would highly recommend these pot holders to others and I would purchase more for myself.
These better home and garden potholders are great for any kitchen. I love the gray color that I received they go with my kitchen and any kitchen. Love the fact that you get 2 in the package great value for sure. I like the fact that there are heat resistant up to 500° when I use them I do not feel any heat coming through to my hand. They seem to be quality made nice stitching around the edges. And they are made of a nice soft terrycloth but thick to reduce the feel of any heat to your hand. They are the perfect size to fit your hand. I like the stitching in the center so you can squeeze your hand as if it was a mitt . I'm also glad that they are machine washable so you can keep them nice and clean if you spill on them. I also like the silicone nonslip grip on them helps not to slip when you pick up something hot .
Very well made BHG pot holders. Comes in a pack of 2! I got the red. they are sewn inside so you can stick your hand in and use as a mitt! I love that feature! Has silicone grips on the other side so when using to take out of the oven the mitt will not slide of pan/ pots. cookie sheets etc! Really great thick material. Used several times and it takes the heat very well! I Love the BHG brand. So many cute kitchen accessories to choose from!
I am loving these Better Homes and Gardens two pack of gray pot holders with pockets. They feature heat resistance up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, non-slip silicone grip on the underside and soft Terry cloth lined pocket to put your hands in. I've been using these almost every day in the kitchen and even setting hot pots on top of them on my dinner table. I can feel confident about pulling a hot pan out of the oven as long as I have these oven mit type pot holders on my hands. I've never had pot holders with the non-slip silicone grip before and I'm loving that feature and this is the only kind of pot holders that I will purchase in the future. They come in a great variety of colors to mix and match with anyone's kitchen decor. The outer shell is 100 percent cotton and is filled with 100 percent recycled polyester. They are machine washable in cold water with like colors. Pot holder is very well made and good stitching. I highly recommend this pot holder.
I love the no slip side of these pot holders, but the split n the middle of them makes it very hard to put your hand in and hold stuff right. Would have been much better with no section sewed in the middle. I still use them I just dont put my hand in them. The color is great and so far I have not burnt myself using them.
Nice red color, good material, like the silicon on one side. The pockets on the other side took me a while to get used to. Overall these are great potholders, wash well, keep the color. The reaon why I didn't give them a 5 star rating was they are a tit to thin. If you get a pan out of the oven at 500 better hurry up your hands get very warm very quickly.
