Great home keyboard with a lot of sounds, some of which are pretty impressive. I tend to be a piano guy so I don't like the feel of the spongy non-weighted keys, but they are velocity sensitive. I also like the stereo sounding speakers. They sound pretty great, and the volume you can get out of them is pretty good. We have yet to tap into all the functions, but as far as quality for the money, I would say this ranks high.
My daughter loves everything about it and she has not even scratched the surface of all the things it can do. Received it very quickly in excellent condition.
My daughter is taking piano lessons and her piano teacher recommended this product. So far we are very pleased with it.
I bought this for my 9 yr old daughter. She loves it, the rest of my kids love it and I do too. The YPG-235 has a wonderful sound and this package is a good price . I am very happy I made this purchase.
While I haven't tried out all it's bells and whistles- there are lots of them- I'm very pleased with the quality of sound and the directions that came with it. I wanted more than 61 keys but didn't necessary need 88 either. This was a good option for me. I don't think you would be disappointed with this keyboard. Walmart has the best price too and it was bundled with accessories that you would need to purchase anyway.
I started taking piano lessons and I needed a keyboard but I wanted one that sounded just like a piano and wanted the keys to feel right. I read all the reviews on line about all different keyboards and this one sounded the best. I was not disappointed. Love the keys and the sound is awesome. You will love this keyboard.
I am not a trained keyboardist but I can play enough to use it for writing purposes and general recording. This has all the sounds I require and a couple surprises. Piano's sound fine, Hammond sounds are cool. Bass selections are all good. The synth sounds are very nice. Classic analog lead stuff and some of the breathy horns are nice. Strings all sound good and a nice selection to choose from. In general, sounds like a very expensive keyboard for a fraction of the cost.
My daughter absolutely loves it! Much more than a keyboard, more like a piano. Even sounds like a Baby Grand! Well worth the money and would highly recommend!
I love this keyboard. The stand was easy to figure out, it is almost just like having a piano, but it also has so many other capabilities, I will be able to be my own one-woman musician. I can have several instruments, sounds, voices, rhythms, input from computer programs, recording a song next-to professionally, then being able to perform without playing it while I am singing. I am getting a karaoke machine to go with this and I can start performing my own music. I am also able to give piano lessons now. This machine is great!
The piece is wonderful for a house which does not have room for a full size piano. The sound quality is excellent. I am not a talented musician but I can play enough for my needs and I think I really chose the right instrument for this.
