Great purchase for my 7 year old to learn on and for Dad to play as well. Good value and many options.
Granddaughter is taking piano in school and I bought this so she could practice. She loves it and is doing well in class. Built very good and the sound is excellent.
easy to use and great quality
I have no experience with pianos, but I bought this for my daughter who just started piano lessons. It has a great sound and seems well made. The keys feel very similar to a real piano( as far as keyboards go). The stand has a wide range of heights, the headphones are great, and an added AC adapter is a plus! I would recommend it.
I ordered this keyboard package and bundled it with the offered sustain pedal almost two months ago. I paid the extra $5 and got the faster shipping. The packages arrived intact to my front door in 4 days. Everything was well packaged and in perfect condition when opened. The included stand is sturdy and easy to assemble. It accommodates the keyboard very well and was easy to adjust to the correct paying height for me. The headphones aren't great quality (obviously) but they do work and include a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter. The keyboard itself is a great instrument. As I expected the quality of the standard piano voice is not equal to that of similar Yamaha models. This really puzzles me as all the rest of the huge selection of voices are of excellent quality. The rhythm and accompaniment selections are fun and cover a vast range of styles. I recently connected the WK245 to a spare laptop I have with a USB 2.0 cable I had laying around and it instantly installed and worked immediately with my MIDI software and some online services I use. Anyone who has ever fought with the old-style DIN type MIDI interfaces will appreciate how easy and reliable this feature is. The sustain/effect pedal connected in a second and is sturdy and works perfectly. To sum it up: it's a great instrument that I have been enjoying every day. The bundled items were everything I needed to have a great music setup at a very fair price. If the standard piano voice were more realistic I would rate the WK245 "5 stars". My niece will have her tenth birthday in a month or so. I do plan to buy her a setup exactly like this as she has demonstrated a remarkable natural talent for music and has devoted herself to practice and study.
This is a very good key board. I am an intermediate piano player and this has everything I need and more. It has good sound and play along features. I teach violin and this keyboard works well the violin lessons. It is a nice size keyboard and I felt the price was good. It arrived in just a couple of days.
