When I did get a chance to play mine...it sounded great, but only after I got it tuned by a music company in town. However I'm in a place now I can't play it. But when I did play it...I loved it!
Our son wanted this for his birthday and had trouble finding it anywhere else. We ordered it online and it was well worth it. It didn't take long at all to get it and my son has loved playing it ever since. I would definitely recommend this.
It was a great product, my son just loves it, It came Christmas eve so I was able to put it under the tree with out him seeing it. Thank you Silvertone is a great product, also the jet black with ivory trim it outstanding
I bought this for my boyfriend. He wanted to learn how to play the guitar so I surprised him with this guitar. He loves it and has made a hobby out of playing it.
Ordered this package for my wife, as she has wanted to learn to play for a while. The package was shipped securely. The package was missing the chord chart, we were told they could not just send a chord chart. So the package wasn't complete. Shipping was pretty quick.
Very good product. We had issue with the strings.my son was tuning guitar with the original strings on it and the El string broke. We used the replacement string that came with the guitar and it was knotted in the package. It broke before he could string the guitar. After 30 minute trip to nearest music shop to get replacement he was very happy with the guitar and loves playing it.
This is a great entry level full size guitar. Made by Samick, the neck was straight and no major defects were found in the construction or finish. After putting on some nicer strings, the guitar sounds great. Compared to other similar priced guitars, this one is a real musical instrument and not a toy.
Sounds good, plays well. The black model shows scratches very easily, so not a very hard coating on it. My 9 year old is taking lessons with it and it is working nicely as a starting guitar.
I purchased for nephew's Christmas and when I received it, everything looked ok and in great shape considering the packaging wasn't up to par in my opinion. Went to tune the guitar and found out the neck was bent so bad, 3 frets were not tuning properly. Yes, it could have been a defective neck piece, but I believe it was probably also due to poor packaging since the inside box slid inside the main box quite a lot. Ended up finding a local store to have what I needed for about the same price. Made for a very disappointing Christmas day knowing he couldn't play it.
I received a bad item. There is no careful examination.
