Hard to find left handed guitars that are reasonable in cost. This is a good starting guitar for the price.
Happily surprised, the guitar action was set very good right out of the box, looks nice, don't have any complaints at this time, if any pop up, I will update the review.
I don't like it when people that are right handed try to convince a left handed person to learn something on their right hand an neglect the hand we were meant to (write and) play instruments with. It's like telling a tenor to be an alto when they've maxed their range. Everything is catered to the right handers, don't fall in with the crowd. I have this guitar and the left hand learners book. I love learning with my left hand. If I choose to do right handed, it will make me more flexible as a musician, othe than neglecting my left hand. It is not hard to learn on the left hand. It's all about how much time you're willing to give your practice. I've had my guitar for almost two years now and I love it. It has a crisp sound. It's easy to learn how to change the strings and very easy to tune. It's a nice starters guitar. The strings are very hard though because it is acoustic. I've been looking for better strings. Other than that, this guitar is my friend. When I'm extremely good, I'm going to name it.
Bought this for my granddaughter. She's just learning and won't put it down.
Well packaged and looked very good. I ordered the left hand version and am very happy. Other than a few marks on the pick guard. it was perfect
It is my first guitar purchase. I am left handed and thought this might be easier to learn on than a right handed guitar. It is not because pretty much all of the pressing of the guitar strings on the fret board is accomplished by the right hand on this guitar. The left hand strums and picks the strings, which in my opinion is much easier to do. So a right handed guitar would actually be easier for a left handed person to learn on. Also, because the strings are the exact opposite of a right handed guitar, when you are learning to read fret bars, you will need to read the finger and string placement in reservse. There are some left handed beginner guitar books available, but learning how to play and read from them limits you to options in the several dozens versus music for right handed guitars has choses in the thousands. It has an acceptable sound, and it tunes easily. It's construction has a wooden back. I just made learning to play more challenging than it needed to be. The guitar however is a quality product for the price.
I was pretty disappointed. I was expecting it to be a decent entry level guitar. The sound is fine but the neck wasn't straight making it hard for a beginner to learn.
