I bought this box of spoons to use for lunches. It is a much better buy than the smaller packs in the grocery store. These are fairly sturdy - they are perfect for yogurt. The package is not that bulky so they don't take up too much room in the kitchen. Overall, a very good buy.
At 1.4 cents per spoon, these are great. We got tired of canned cat food sticking to silverware spoons and then stinking up the kitchen because the stuff is like napalm on a spoon, it just won't come off. Solution- throw-away inexpensive plastic spoons! And they ARE sturdy enough to scoop canned cat food of various brands, and survive being smacked against the bowl repeatedly to get the food to come off into the bowl. The quality is comparable to just about any fast food white soup spoons. Sure, the black plastic-ware usually seems stronger, but these spoons are right on par with most fast food and carry-out restaurant soup spoons.
Next time would order the heavy duty. These tend to bend easily.
I had hope they be stronger spoon.
Just wanted some disposable spoons to use fur Mr digs wet food everyday. First soon I used cracked right in half. So whole box went straight back to the store
We found these to be too light weight and will buy heavy weight in the future.
I ordered these for home use because I make a lot of soups, chili, etc. at home. I was disappointed to find that they are barely usable for most purposes, and hardly fit the description of "medium weight." Don't buy unless you are ok with the spoons bending even when just stirring or eating normal density foods like chili or soup. Not even close to the quality of spoons given out at fast food places.
These things are cheap and flimsy... good to slurp a broth, but nothing else. They're irregularly shaped from each other, several of them have slag on the edges (from molding), and they are a little deeper than any soup spoon I've ever used (making it kinda hard to get everything). Like I said... these are good for a broth or a very light cream soup.
These spoons are so extremely flimsy that you are literally waiting for them to snap at any moment! They bend with the slightest weight or pressure and should not be used for anything but the lightest of uses (stirring coffee, etc). It's nice to buy in bulk but when the product is junk it only means you got even more junk for your buy. Save your money!
Flimsy and very small. These are the smallest soup spoons I have ever seen and I would not recommend them.
