I've tried a lot of recycled and sustainable toilet paper, and this one is by far the best! It doesn't fall apart, the layers don't separate, and it is reasonably soft.
I was excited to find a recycled option at Sam's! This toilet tissue is fine for me, but truth be told I'm not picky. My only complaint is that I wish it wasn't individually wrapped, I feel as if that defeats the purpose a little...
Sturdier doesn't stick to skin. My toilet hasn't clogged. Use less but roll is smaller I prefer it to members mark brand, Scott and POM. Great price and all recycled product. I'm staying with it.
It's very clean and easy to store because it does not have plastic bag or wrapping material. Loose rolls it's an easy way not to pay for envelopes or brand names on the wrap. Thank you for being available on these hard times that's it's not easy to find toilet paper. It's soft and resistant. I'm definitely interested in ordering more when I finish the ones I got.
The rolls are smaller than the "jumbo" rolls I've been buying for years. The tissue is thiner, akin to what you find at restaurants, and public establishments. For home use, it takes some getting used to and is likely more costly. However, the trade off to close the loop by not only recycling paper, but using recycled products is worth the small extra cost for my family. I'll keep buying it and appreciate that Sams Club has made this choice easily accessible to us. Close the loop folks! Your/our great grandkids will be grateful.
These are a very good value for 2-ply for the price. My only complaints are: the 2 layers almost always separate, and it's often very difficult to start the roll because of excess glue adhering to the roll. Many times I've had to just rip into several layers just to start it off.
When I can find it, I use recycled paper prod including paper towels and napkins. The individual wrapping seems excessive but is recyclable unlike typical plastic binders. Although advertised as 2 ply it seems not that much thicker than institutional rolls. It serves the purpose but is clumsy to store.
I usually try to use recycled toilet paper and tend to buy Seventh Generation or the Whole Foods brand. I decided to give the Marcal a try even after reading iffy reviews. I figured maybe those other reviewers just weren't used to the texture of recycled paper and it would be fine for me. This is ok, but definitely not one of the better ones I tried. It's absolutely not your Charmin ultra strong. I would say it's more similar to the rough, office/septic toilet paper that is usually bought in bulk. My big issue is the same as most reviewers. You go through this FAST. I mean mind-blowingly fast. The rolls are notably smaller than other recycled brands, but the paper itself doesn't look especially thin. I'm shocked by how quickly I'm going through it in a single household. It's fine for this purchase and, afterall, it is just going down the drain, but I don't think I'd pay for this again.
I Thought This Was Supposed to Be 2-Ply Toilet Paper, I Can Only Count One? The Toilet Paper Feels Like You Are Rubbing A Bit Of Sand Paper On Your Butt If You Have To Go Doo More Than 2-Times A Day. Very Disappointed ☹️. In Sam's Club For Letting This Marcal - Small Step Recycled Toilet Paper Get Such High Marks.
This is disappointing, I have always bought the one ply which is basically soft. This two-ply is actually rough and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they no longer offer the one ply. Looks like someone screwed up on this. I would not recommend this, especially for ladies.
