I was excited to buy this telescope but it was something of a let-down after it's first use. I probably expected too much from a $200 telescope but I thought it would give a nice big view of the moon with lots of detail on the craters. In actuality, it's not much more powerful than an average pair of binoculars. I also was unable to get it to locate items in the sky with the computer controls. I spent a couple hours setting and re-setting the computer with my location details (etc) but it never got it right. I wanted it to track the moon but it kept looking a completely different direction.
Don't waste your money. Its like having a pair of good quality binoculars . I program for one thing it does another.
