Great entry product for star and planet gazing. Will enjoy 5 inch lense.
Lets be honest this is no pro telescope. However, this is a pretty good telescope, it's a little light a little hard to setup and a little fuzzy compared to good scopes you can get that are $900-1800 or more. The price is really really good, so if your just starting out and you want to get a decent feel for if you want to keep doing this, or if you have a child that wants to get into astronomy and your also interested get it.
