Great ground gripping. I just wish the strap came up higher to make the boot more secure on my feet, but you will not have the zipper busting issue I had with a similar pair. This boot is very comfortable from first wear just a tad wide on the heel/ ankle area. Yet, I think the medium would have been too narrow on toes. So I got the wide. Very insulating warmth and water resistant edging. I like the right height heel (about 1.25). Good price!
