Usually these Energy Smart Fluorescent bulbs are not as bright as their incondescent relatives. These were used in a row of lights above a mirror in my wife's dressing room. She now has a whole other type of light to "make-up" with and when the other bulbs burn out (there's 8 all together) we will replace them with these energy smart compact Flourescent bulbs. They are the same shape as those already in the fixture but these are much brighter and give the room a another type of light.
The product itself is a good bulb and does the job. I purchased this for my vanity in the bathroom. I ordered a 9 pack of bulbs and received a 3 pack instead. Contacted Walmart and they replaced it without any problems, but it was the same problem on the replacement and now I have to go through the hassle of returning the wrong product.
