I use this because it seems like regular "slick" floss does not capture anything much less remove from the crevices of your teeth. This is thread-like and yet still fits between your teeth and in my opinion, removes more. It also is easier to handle and is less likely to cause pain or discomfort when flossing. I can find it NOWHERE except Walmart!!
My daughter suffers from a seizure disorder which due to medications and the seizures causes her gums to bleed easily. When she uses this product her gums do not bleed.
The floss is strong and has a nice scent. It Keeps my gum looking healthy.
I only use J&J Reach Woven Floss because it is superior to waxed floss. Woven floss removes more food particles and plaque than waxed floss. I thought just brushing my teeth removed food particles and plaque until my dentist recommended I floss in 1980. I have been flossing ever since, and my teeth are healthy. This floss makes my mouth feel clean. I am so happy your web site told me Wal-Mart carried Reach Woven Floss. I hope this brand is not discontinued. If so, please let me know how I can purchase it. Good dental hygene needs dental floss, this is good for me.
Woven cleans my teeth better that waxed. Using waxed I always felt like I was cutting into my gums. With the woven floss I have more control.
Flouride coated and woven -- twisted would be more accurate -- soft and absorbent enough to "brush" sides of teeth rather than just knock bits out. Softness helps drag particles out. However, this thicker floss will not work if the spaces between teeth are very tight -- if you have trouble getting waxed or very fine floss to "go down" between teeth this product won't go and can break off requiring thin floss to drag out broken peice.
Its mint flavor, and its cheap.
