This is totally comparable to fixodent except it is half the price. I was a fixodent user for years. Then I tried this and started saving money with the same quality of product as the name brand. A very good buy.
For me, the Equate brand of Complete Original Denture Adhesive Cream works better and lasts longer than Fixodent brands at almost half the price. Highly recommend.
Some Denture Glue adds "Zinc" in them. IF you have an allergy to zinc, it will burn your mouth. Walmart Equate Firm Hold Denture Adhesive Cream works as long as you need it to work. It is easy to use and easy to clean over night.
I had been using an expensive adhesive. By coincidence, I discovered EQUATE's denture adhesive cream at an incredibly inexpensive price. The product has tremendous HOLD lasting all day and provides the security of being able to eat just about anything without dentures detaching or slipping. Other "better" and expensive adhesives require some extreme measures such as warming, etc., but this EQUATE FIRM HOLD DENTURE ADHESIVE CREAM is only applied and provides the same, if not, better hold lasting a day. Suggestion: applying the adhesive in the front middle in a straight line to mid denture and on both sides and placing in mouth, pressing and holding for about 30 seconds to 1 minute seems to allow the adhesive to adhere firmly to the upper roof of the mouth. I don't know, but this may be also true for the lower dentures also.
I use Walmart delivery for everything because Im disabled. ive been a member since 2005. All my items I order come perfect. All the people that pull my orders are amazing! The drivers always go above and beyond for me. They smile and engage with me in incredible conversation. All the workers that are a part of my delivery service should be given a gold medal and a raise, they work so hard and take serious pride in there work. Blessings Stephanie
one bad thing about it is that it doesn't work after 24 hours it must be reapply again otherwise it's pretty good happy with my purchase
It does the job for the most part. When it comes time to remove the dentures, the glue is very hard to get out of the mouth.
tried to save a couple pennies...big mistake! stuck to everything but the dentures. doesnt stay where you need it. and the taste is terrible. clean up takes forever trying to get it all off gums and lips. I'll be throwing this out and spending the extra for a name brand i know works.
by midday my dentures are loose and I have to reapply. might as well spend the extra dollar and get the name brand adhesive. cost less in the long run because when i use this stuff i have to use twice as much.
i had a delivery of tissue and cat litter. in a couple of days i received the same thing again.!! Such a hassle. Now i have received another message that they are " Sorry" for being late!! I am to receive same order again. Fix this situation right away. i better not be charged for extra things i have not ordered. Marlene. H.
