Our daughter said "We need more TRAINING toothpaste." I said "HUH? For WHAT?" She replied "His TEETH!" "Why does he need TRAINING toothpaste? He licks the frosting off my cupcakes all the time!" I was kidding,but, our daughter-Mommy-was not amused. I never heard of Training Toothpaste--I bought the standard 'kid' toothpaste---we (my grandson and I) picked out an Angry Birds toothbrush--all set!--so I thought..... Upstairs to brush and "OH OH! This toothpaste is too SPICY!" spit-spit-spit! "Spicy" is our grandson's 'code' for everything NOT pleasant--"SPOOKY" is in the same category. Our daughter told us about Orajel Training Toothpaste and wouldn't ya' know? After the "SPICY!" 'experiment' I bought Thomas & Friends Tooty Fruity Flavor the next day. End of the 'spicy' comments--in fact, the only 'problem' we have is our grandson wants to brush his teeth about 12 times in a row! I will absolutely promote good dental health---but--!!!!!! Thanks!!
My son just loves it! Only toothpaste he actually enjoys using to brush his teeth with! If you're having a hard time getting your toddler to brush their teeth, highly recommend using this specific tooth paste flavor in addition to the bubble gum flavor. It also helps that my son is a huge PAW Patrol fan, which is perfect because those are the characters on the packaging!
This is the only toothpaste I have used with my young toddlers. It's sweet sugar free flavor makes it easy for active or fussy kids to accept to brush their teeth. It is perfect for little ones to practice brushing their teeth before they learn how to spit while also cleaning their teeth.
I wear dentures. When I take them out for their cleaning then it's time for me to “brush” my gums and implants. I have found that a soft babies toothbrush and Orajel baby toothpaste keep my tender gums healthy.
our 3 year old grandson absolutely loves it. He can't wait to come over to our house and brush his "eeth". He loves Paw Patrol and that makes it even better.
My granddaughter is 5 years old and she loves this toothpaste. She complained that the other toothpastes made for children burned her mouth. Since purchasing this brand of toothpaste she brushes her teeth without my reminding her after meals. She really likes it.
I know the flavor of this toothpaste changed a year or two ago. But it still is my daughter's favorite. She has been using it since she was 2 years old. She will be 10 this year and she has never had a cavity. She's not the greatest brusher either. I always have to remind her to brush and floss every night. I don't think it's genetics since both my husband and I had cavities as kids. Maybe it is just luck or maybe it's this toothpaste. It's fluoride free and has all natural ingredients which I like. Her dentist always tells her what a great job she does brushing. So I have nothing but good things to say about this toothpaste for kids. Maybe it's good for adults too but I can't recommend that since I am not a dentist.
My kids loves it, great for starters while they get used to brushing their teeth with out the dangers that fluoride provides to little ones.
I cannot answer for your kiddo on if they'll like this flavor but this is the only one my special needs kid will tolerate. Really great they offer swallowable training toothpaste or else I have no idea how I'd get my nonverbal 2 year old to brush their teeth! We're a repeat buyer and plan to stay that way. Hope this helps.
My toddler is very picky so we have gone through many types of toothpaste. This is the one he goes back to time and time again. I would have given 5 stars but there is no fluoride and with his hypoplastic teeth that would be better for him. This flavor helps us avoid the nighttime struggle to brush teeth!
