Yes I will keep buying these instead of paying Phillips high price for refills.
Yes, these are a little noisier than the original, but the price is SO much cheaper, and these don't leak like the originals, getting the nasty buildup inside. I've bought them over and over. And I've gotten used to the noise.
If you buy generic Aspirin you're not going to be able to tell the difference. Don't think for a second buying a generic replacement head is the same. These heads are horrible. The vibration is not the same and worst of all your toothbrush now sounds like a lawn mower in your mouth. I thought maybe the head was defective, but I tried ALL the heads in the pack and they were all the same.
I was really hoping this would work, but it failed miserably. The vibration was okay (loud, but okay) until I placed the toothbrush on my teeth. As soon as the brush hits a solid surface it comes close to stopping all vibration. I might as well have been brushing with a normal toothbrush. Don't wast your money.
My wife recently purchased a set of these replacement brush heads for our Sonicare, and they do not fit properly, or work correctly. There is some sort of a locating pin missing that orients the brush head properly, which seems to be important for the magnetic action to work properly. So, it is necessary to try to tighten and rotate the head at the same time to get it aligned. This is not acceptable. Even then, they buzz loudly, which to me is a sign they are not properly fitted into the handle. The result of all this, of course, is that they are doing an inferior job of teeth cleaning. Could we send the bill for the resulting cavities to Walmart? I would like to return them, but they are used, and we threw away the packaging.
Saved a few bucks over the Sonicare brand and the things don't work--there is a lot of vibrating going on, just not at the brush. The local Wal-Mart said nearly every one sold has been returned for a refund. They are waiting for corporate to remove from shelves. Excellent service from Wal-mart though as they refunded me my money even bringing these back in a baggie. Im generally a fan of Equate products.
I was happy when I needed to replace our Sonicare toothbrush heads and found that Equate was now making them. Biggest mistake. I noticed the difference from the first time I used it that the vibration was not at all the same. The next time we went to Walmart I purchased the original Sonicare replacements and changed them out when I got home. The Equate brand did something to the toothbrush as now it does not work as strong as it did prior to using their brand. Still vibrates, but only a very low speed. I've tried everything and nothing is helping. So the few $ saved in purchasing this brand will now cost me big time in having to purchase another toothbrush. Mine was only a few months old. DON'T waste your $. Through reading the comments, I find that I'm not the only one. I will try to return the 2 out of 3 that I still have and see how that goes. (still have the package but not the receipt) Wish I could also get reimbursed for the new toothbrush because if not for their product it would still be working properly.
My experience with this generic sonic care head is the same as Yorktown. They look exactly the same but the vibration during use was too much for comfort.
These are horrible!! They rattle so bad, nothing helps, not even tightening like it suggests. It's painful but you really should cough up the extra money to buy the real ones. Also I noticed these are extremely sensitive to pressure - I tend to press down hard when brushing - and it makes these stop moving. Save yourself the headache and be glad you checked out the reviews!
I was excited to find a generic brush head for my sonicare toothbrush. Unfortunately, I'll go back to the real one asap. It sounds similar to the real brush heads when they get loose, only louder, and tightening doesn't help. It's too irritating for me.
