We have been using this all summer in south GA and I never have to worry about my 2 year old getting burned. I also use it and it doesn't leave me feeling sticky and greasy like other products do. its wonderful!!
I use the sunscreen daily on my face. It is gentle on the skin. Leaves a shiny finish.

Been looking for this. Glad that I found it available. Bought this together with sports and for kids for our summer vacation. Good deal. Loyal banana boat user as its non sticky and light.
Perfect for baby and its tear free
NOT Tear Free! We applied this to my baby son, being very careful not to go near his eyes, in fact, we didn't put it on his face at all as he was wearing a sun hat. We made sure the suncream was dry and that he had none on his hands (we washed them thoroughly) before letting him touch his face but his eyes were red and streaming with tears for two to three hours after application as he was rubbed his eyes. This was not a one-off as it happened on three occasions all when using this sun cream. Would NOT recommend for babies. My poor son did not enjoy our first trip to the beach as he was blinking and tearful all morning. Disappointed as we paid a third more for this product over others available as it stated it was tear free and it hasn't worked. Waste of extra money spent.
I have used this on my 19 month old son two times and on the second time we finally realized the allergy was coming from this product after having to go to the ER! 1st time i used about 2 months ago and he broke out in a full body rash that lasted 3 days. We thought it was a heat rash so we didnt take him out at all until he got better. Weeks later we take him to the park on a hot day without sunscreen and surprisingly nothing happened. 2 days ago i applied the product on my son's face and neck (mostly) and very little on the rest of the body. After an hour or two of being under the sun, he came home with a red itchy face. I took him a bath and put him to bed thinking it was just sensitivity to the sun. The next day in the morning he was a little less red but one side still had a red patch. During our car ride on the same day, he began to scratch and cry from the uncomfortable itchy feeling. Next thing i see is bright red patches on his face again and i noticed him squirming in his car seat from having itchy ears and face! A few minutes later his face began to swell in small areas! This is when i freaked out and took him to the ER. Bottomline DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. There are so many negative reviews i wished i had seen before buying this product.
I used it thinking it might work better then regular adults and I got fried!! DO NOT USE ON BABIES! I used there regular cream and it was fine but the spray does not work at all.
I bought this 2 weeks ago and every time my family has used it we are burnt worse than without sunscreen! We are a family of redheads with very fair skin so this is not good! We have always used banana boat brand but I can't do this anymore my 3yr and 6yr are so badly burnt they won't quit crying! I'm the trash it went maybe we'll try again next year.
My partner bought this sun screen product for our young children. Our two year old son came up with blisters and burns to his face whilst wearing this product in the sun at the weekend. Similar to the appearance of other children who have shown up on facebook and online with burns caused by this product. DO NOT USE ON YOUNG CHILDREN! OFFICIAL ADVICE IS TO NOT APPLY SPRAY SUNCREAM TO CHILDRENS FACES AND USE OTHER PRODUCTS FOR THIS HOWEVER THAT IS NOT LISTED ON THIS OR ANY OTHER BANANA BOAT PRODUCTS
