This is the ONLY hairspray I have used for years! It has been hard to find so last time I found it, I bought 4 bottles. I am almost out and searching for it again, but just heard it has been DISCONTINUED!!! Noooooooooooooooo! I love that it holds my hairstyle but isn't stiff! And my husband loves the scent. PLEASE bring it back!!
This is the only hairspray I use. I love the product and am very upset that you have discontinued it. You do not have a comparable product. I feel that you do not value your customers needs and will need to reconsider buying anything from your company in the future.
Oh, my gosh I have been looking for a product like this for a long time. The smell is not offensive, the hold is fantastic and my frizz even on the highest humidity days is gone!!!! I will be sure to have your hair spray on hand in my home for a very long time. The all day hold of my hair style is fantastic too!!! Love it!!! Thank you Garnier for giving me back control over my hair!!!
Everything I love gets discontinued! That's become my life's slogan. The flexible control #2 hair spray is the only hair spray that works with my natural wavy/curly hair without making it crunchy, weighted down, or yuck. This recipe trumps every Garnier and professional line of product I've tried. I guarantee I won't be buying other Garnier products as a substitute, because there is no such thing. One disappointed gal over here.
I am also devastated that the #2 flexible hold hairspray has been discontinued. I have been using it since it came out and nothing else. I have spent so much money trying to find a replacement and have not had any luck. Do you know of a brand that might be comparable and "why" was it discontinued anyway?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hairspray is everything it advertises. Lightweight, long lasting, and does not make your hair stiff. The closest I had to testing anti-humidity is a hot shower, and it seemed to hold up. I would have to say the only complaint I have is the smell. It smells like typical hairspray, it is a rarity to find a spray that actually smells pleasant. (Braids in pic held up well after a night out.)

When I used Garnier Fructis it held my style in place(which was a pony tail), but it didn't make my hair super hard. I liked how at the end of the day when I took my hair down it was easy to manage, and it didn't just sit on my head, unmanageable. The name “flexible control” is right on point. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I already have. It worked great, and I will be using it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start out the rating, I love garnier products. I have wavy to curly hair and it is very voluminous and thick. On rainy humid days it looks as if I was electrocuted so I would want a product that helps with that. This product was excellent for that situatuon. As it said it gave a medium (2) hold, it also said it gave a flexible control. Meaning your hair wouldn't be hard. I personally would of liked something with a stronger hold but this spray did the job. tried it during different occasions for about a week since I really wanted to see how it would do. One of those days was a regular cold winter day and the hold was pretty good. The next time I tried it was on a day where it just finished raining and it was humid. I tried it this day since the spray said it was antihumidity for 24 hours. After the whole day going to school and doing errands my hair was put and not frizzy. I loved it because of that. The odor the spray gives is not a chemically smell, it has a fresh smell which I like. Overall I would use this product again especially for humid days because of the odor and the hold it gives since my hair was not stiff or hard but nice and fluffy.

This spray is light and does not weigh your hair down My curls bounced back into place even with strong winds. (FYI: I used this spray to curl a weave/extensions and my curls did not drop at all throughout the day). This spray is light and does not weigh your hair down.
Didn't realize Garnier had discontinued their flexible control #2 hair spray until I started looking for it. I used to get it buy one get one 1/2 off, so haven't purchased in a while. I've used it for years, and like others am disappointed it's not available now. I do not want sleek and shine or #3 or #4 stiffness. Alas, I will be looking for another product.
