I love this product for my daughter she's mixed and has the black hair texture and all.. and Carols daughter conditioner leaves her hair feeling so soft and manageable
I incorporated the conditioner as a part of my daily beard maintenance routine and so far I like the results. I was a little concerned about the black vanilla staining my gray beard, but haven't experienced it. Also added the black castor oil conditioner and the coconut oil to my morning ritual before I blow dry. Nice and shiny, soft beard with no breakage or split ends.
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this brand at first because I didn't know what to expect with my particular hair type. However, after taking the Carol's Daughter curly hair type quiz on their website, I was able to make a choice based not only on my hair type, but also based on my personal hair care and styling needs. I would encourage you to check out the Carol's Daughter website and to take the quiz as well rather than attempting to "wing-it" when making a decision on which items from this line would work best on your unique curl type, texture, current condition, etc. prior to purchasing from this line. My hair has already regained its softness and shininess after using this product only once. I'm so thrilled that I now know which of their products best suit me.
I love how it makes my hair shine
Did not dry out hair too much. But it does wash out your natural oils so make sure to use a detangler or ethnic conditioner to replenish your oils. I still think shae shampoo and conditioner works better.
i use this for my locs it has a very strong smell but i really like it. the only problem i have with it is the fact it barely moisturizes, makes my hair frizzy, and unravels it kinda a lot but it does give my hair more volume so it's ok.
I did not like this stuff I found out I was allergic to it the hard way. I have dandruff galore now and my scalp itches ALL THE TIME WITH HUGE FLAKES OF DANDRUFF this is VERY, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE 🥴 FOR ME!
I bought and used the Shampoo only. Each time I have used it, it has left a weird oily/heavy film in my hair. I do not use alot of product either... 2 pumps for hair that is down to my natural waist. No matter how vigorously I rinse, whether its with hot OR cold water, or even if I blow dry after my shower... there is still a film. I really wanted to like this product.
The product was not secured well in shipping, resulting in spillage. This is a really good product. It's a shame to see it wasted. I don't think the spillage is visible but you can see the empty at the top of the bottle.
I did not care for the substitute . I will bring it to the store for exchange. The product that I ordered generally always in the store too by the way! So I'm will come back for the exchange. Thank you. Kindly
