We have had the original crazy cart for over 5 years, so as the kids grew we decided to step it up. We absolutely love it!!! it's super fun drifting.
Hi everyone We are having a lot of fune with our Crazy Cart XL. Sadly, the weels are shreded up and we ordered some new ones. The new ones however are not white and beveled but black and straight. Are they still ok to but on the cart?
Blast to ride! There is a learning curve to figure out all the drifting techniques. Definitely recommend watching youtube videos demonstrating 3 things: how to go, how to spin, how to stop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qFAnyktklU This particular video shows the smaller Razor but the same techniques apply to the larger Crazy Cart. Our 6yr old grandson also rode the full size Crazy Cart and actually likes it better than the smaller Razor but his dad likes the Razor better! Really recommend kids wear bicycle helmet and a mouth/tooth guard...just in case. Great Fun!!!
My son loves this. The battery lasts several hours when charged. We have had no issues with the casters. My son weighs about 95 pounds and had no issues. My 135 lb daughter and 185 lb husband have both rode it and had no issues with it. He has not stopped riding it since Christmas.
This things sick, right out the box!
So my son had his Crazy Cart for about 4 days when it completely stopped working. My husband took a look at it and there were some wires that were entirely too short. When you turn the steering wheel it pulled the wires lose. Also Today is day 8 and it already needs a new FRONT TIRE. It did come with extra back tires but not front. He does love it and says it's super fun, but it could be made a little better if you ask me. The batteries should come out so you can get more than one and alternate them.
My son saved up for this and got it, had a lot of fun for 2 days then the front tire popped, waited a week for the new tire to come in. the new tire did the same thing, so he found a fully plastic tire, had no grip at all. and since he would've had to keep buying wheels for it, we had to return it
We have had nothing but issues with this. Second day riding it, the entire back castor and wheel completely came off the cart. Razor sent a new part. Then rode it and the front tire exploded and the cart crashed to the ground, causing damage to the cart and chain area. Razor is denying the claim, saying it's normal. My son rode this FOUR times. I'm taking it back.
Santa Claus brought this for my son, it was a hit for a few hours. Then the tire popped, then the electrical broke, then the new tire popped and then the 3rd tire popped and lastly the steering stem broke. Very very upset for $1k it is 100% a let down. This product has a warranty for 90 days so Santa Claus is in the process of returning this.
The wheels draining rated on the first run. We have bought several products from Razor in the past and was happy when for years. We upgraded to this cart when our kid outgrew the others. What a huge disappointment! Even when we change out the wheels (yes we've done that too) they simply shred up the very next use. Not only do the wheels themselves shred easily but the while wheel chase keeps coming off while in use. We bought 2 carts so it can't just be one defective anomaly. We have similar problems on both units. For such an expensive unit it should not break the first time it's used.
