The delivery company damaged the back of bookshelf. Simpli Home quickly resolved my problem. I would recommend buying from this vendor.
I like the shelving very well. I use it to store sheet music and large books so the proportions were good and it blended in with my old piano.
Packaged well. Great quality and easy to assemble. Perfect piece for my daughter's room. Would definitely buy again.
The bookcase came well packaged and protected. The materials, fit, and finish were all above par and the assembly was straightforward. The final result was very sturdy and should last many decades.
I bought this bookcase because it is solid wood and will last a lifetime. It was easy to put together and I'm so happy about this purchase!
Would have been 5 stars except one of the back screw locations was too close the inside. It split the wood out on the inside side piece. I had to take it back apart to repair it!
Great bookshelf. Measurements are for the very top part, which has an overhang. Sturdy and easy to put together. Not sure where it is made or what country it is a product of.
It's ok but for the price i would have expected the pieces to be cut more precise. We have gaps between the sides and the shelves except for the middle board that get screwed in. That's what my picture is showing, unfortunately it got turned around after uploading it. I find that unsightly and unexpected for the price
I was disappointed with the bookcase during and after assembly. There were 3-4 large scratches on the pieces right out of the box. The backing piece was very cheap looking and did not look like wood to match the rest of the bookcase. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase.
The manufacturing quality is very problematic. One of the boards did not have the right holes drilled for assemble, contacted customer service and they didn't have replacement in stock. I ended up drilled 6 holes myself, well, the drilling part was okay, but to measure and align the right positions to drill these holes wasn't easy, it took me quite some time. The customer service was okay, at least they responded timely. and offered a "whopping" $30 compensation for all the trouble I went through, I'd say it's better than nothing, but definitely not worth it. Another option was to return it, I didn't do return, it's too much of a hassle to return such a large and bulky furniture. People say you got what you paid for, but this bookcase wasn't cheap...
