I have always used manual three-hole punches and had issues with the paper getting stuck, or just not being able to get the job done quickly because I could only do a couple of sheets at a time. With this electric punch, I can do up to 15 sheets at once, so easily. And if the paper does get stuck, there is a reverse button that makes it simple to fix. Using this electric punch, I can get a whole binder of sheets punched in very little time. The machine makes it easy to line up the paper so you get an even punch every time. I would definitely purchase this product for my home office and recommend it to others, especially those who work with paper a lot, like teachers and students.
This is a wonderful product and doesn't take up much room on my desk at work. It was worth the price which was reasonable. I am going to order some for my co-workers now.
I've had to punch holes my whole life :) And I've never had the pleasure of using an electric hole puncher like the Swingline Electric Portable Desktop Punch. Boy, was I missing out! I love that you can punch 15 sheets at time, and that it's battery or AC power - your choice. I was testing it out and it NEVER got jammed with the little paper chads, which always seems to happen on a manual (and there's a reverse button! How cool is that?) And I also liked that it's just a push of a button with one finger rather than having to practically put your whole body weight into it to get a hole punched! I also found that the holes were really uniform from batch to batch. I love this hole punch. Highly recommend!

The retired schoolteacher in me was so excited! After the first 10 minutes to get it out of the package, lol, I went to work! This thing literally punches holes like a dream! Easy one touch operation! No more putting your whole body weight down on the antiquated hole punch of the fast! This is definitely the hole punch of the future! Seriously, so easy to use and nice design! I received this item for free from bzzagent for my honest review.

The Swingline Electric Portable Three Hole Punch doesn't seem to be very loud which is good, and it gets the job done. However, I would not put to many pieces of paper into the thing as it seems it will jam up easily. Never heard of the brand until now and seems like it is not made of sturdy materials. I like how you can align the paper up perfectly then click the button for it to hole punch although it feels like I can just push it in and should do it for me. Overall, 3 out of five stars due to quality of the product.
It arrived all scratched up - but it works really well.
