This is the second one I bought of these. The first I bought somewhere else and for more money. I love them. They look great on our patio. And lots of storage for those outdoor things. So far they haven't gotten wet inside when it rains, but they are on a covered patio which Im sure helps.
I LOVE this storage box! It's stylish with "wovenlook" sides. The color is perfect , beige/clay. It has a hydrolic lid so it closes slowly. Waterproof to the rain we've had. I'm super pleased. Thankyou.
This a great quality product. Very durable and looks great. The directions were easy to follow and the assembly went smoothly. Very good quality for the money!
The other Suncast box was easier to put together than this one! The hinge part of this box is alittle tricky but manageable.
I needed a dual use box and this was exactly what worked. I am using the boxes as tables at the ends of my patio sofa and love seat. Each box holds 2 sets of cushions...perfect for living in the country where it is windy and dusty. With high winds, I set something with a little more weight on top so the lid doesn't pop open. The only negative is the directions and how the hardware is put on. Look at the directions to the end to realize the 2 toggle bolts are put on the same piece for the hydrolic lift to be attached. Also, I used a drill with a Phillips end to start the screws into the hard plastic (tighten by hand). Some had to be started by hand and took a bit more strength but was still fairly easy. (I am a female.... Almost 60 years old) No regrets on buying these!
It does look better than in the photo. Fortunately, we had no issues with missing pieces or defective workmanship. We are very happy with our purchase. I would have give five stars if it was priced at $50. It's a great size for storage of patio items. We're using it for all our bbq items, but it also would be perfect for chair cushions, etc.
I like the storage cube and it fits all of our outdoor cushions.....but it was rediculously difficult to put together. I have assembled gas grills and never had a problem. These instructions were very unclear, some holes didn't line out and there were a few unexplained pieces. The screws required a lot of strength to screw in. So know what you're getting into and have someone with patience and strength around to help.
Once you get it built, it looks good and sturdy... But, getting it built is not easy. The instructions are very small and vague. The screws are very hard to screw into the correct holes... If you're lucky enough to get it built correctly, especially for the lid to shut property, then you have a decent deck box.
This product is made of cheap plastic, which the hinges screw directly into so that the first time you open and close the lid, the screws strip and the product is useless. Returned immediately.
Impossible to assemble. The screws they provided are too large for the hinge. Called the support desk and they suggested that I use soap on the homes and apply more pressure. That does nothing but produce a stream of expletives. They need to make the holes in the hinge larger or provide smaller screws. Avoid this product.
