The #1 PAN WAS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. IT WAS PERFECT FOR BAKING THE CAKE FOR THAT VERY 1ST BIRTHDAY!! IT HELD THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF BATTER THAT MY POUND CAKE PAN HOLDS AND SO I COULD BAKE A DELICIOUS HOMEMADE POUND CAKE THAT EVERYONE COULD ENJOY. THE BATTER DID NOT STICK TO THE PAN, IT CAME OUT EASILY AFTER COOLING FOR 10 MINUTES IN THE PAN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

My mom bought this pan in 1986 to make my daughters first birthday cake. It has since been used also for my son 2 1/2 years later,my granddaughter 5 years ago,my grandson 3 1/2 years ago and this weekend I am making it for my youngest granddaughter who is turning 1.

Made my DH's granddaughter her first birthday cake. Came out beautiful! Next time I will use the pan for Father's Day. I will use the top of the number one to make a face with hair and the bottom to look like a shirt.
The pan is very well made---not thin or flimsy. I haven't used it yet---I ordered it for my grandson's first birthday in December. I have used these types of pans in the past and have always had great results with them. The pan comes with instructions on how much cake mix to use and how to decorate the baked cake. Well worth the money.......and Walmart had the best price.
Procrastinated about buying this pan. I like the pan but it arrived all bent up. I didn't have time to return it so I had to straighten it out
