Works great for birthday. I have made two for birthday they are quite easy to decorate.
This is awesome.. i have made many bday cakes for boys and girls with it. every one loves to be royal for a day.

I used the crown cake pan for my granddaughters first birthday. It was very cute. It was a bigger pan than I thought it would be. It could be decorated many ways.

Bought this pan to make Sly Fox cake, featured by Wilton and it turned out great! It was part of woodland creature birthday party for a one year old and he loved his cake. Wiltons idea was great and easy to follow, including provided pattern! Great idea for a great cake!
This is a very cute pan! I made two cakes, one chocolate one vanilla, and decorated in pinks and purples, one opposite the other. You can write a name or simply "Princess" or even Happy Birthday! Different colors change it up. Very cute and easy to use!
This was a fun project. I did not use the star tip design. Straight tips free hand trace. I did a pink, white and purple butter cream icing. I drew dimond shapes and heart shapes. However, I wanted it to sparkle more. I tried finding edible gems but was not sucessful. I would love to find out about edible gems for the next crown cake I do.
My daughter is a Princess & had to have the Crown Cake. I love that you can make more than just ONE cake design from this! I've done the Sweet Dreams Cake. Cant wait to do the Mardi Gras cake!!
