It is a must have!!!!! I borrowed my friend's and was told that some breakage of the handles occured! HELLO!!!!!! If you use cold icing, maybe? but room temp icing........A DREAM!!!!!
My granddaughter loved it!!

I am new to cake decorating but have found that I love this new hobby and this is a fantastic tool to learn with!
Can't give this a 5 star but I would have if not for the trigger breaking......this is the part that makes using this tool so easy......I have had this tool for a while, paid a good bit for it, and really liked using it, so I didn't immediately throw it out after the part you depress with your thumb broke. I do love that the cylinder is stainless steel instead of plastic so I am going to call the company and see if the will replace the broken part. I'd give it a second try.
I have only used the item once. Some how I screwed the trigger handle on so that I could not unscrew it. After figured out that the plastic cover and the stainless steel tube do come apart and then was able to undo top. So as far as the review about hard to clean, you can take the pieces apart easily and wash, so this is not an issue.
I bought this for my wife a couple months ago, I got her the stainless steal because it looked better than the plastic one. She loved it at first. Then the trigger started slipping and stopped working all together. I have looked for parts for this gun and can't find any. The trigger is made of plastic with a metal eyelet inside. The plastic breaks under pressure making the gun worthless. If I were to buy another I would look at other brands.
Had 1 and the thumb trigger stopped working. Bought a 2nd and had the same problem. 2 units, same problem. Nice product other then the thumb issue. A replacement need to be made but of better quality. For such a big named company and how many stores your product is in, your stuff shouldn't be made so cheap.
I bought the model 186837,which looked like a nice set, the plastic top & bottom pieces both broke after two uses. I tried to get replacements, and was told to just buy a new model. Seeing reviews on the newer one, I glad i didn't.
