Perfect thickness for fine details and writing. Works great on royal icing. Haven't tried it on fondant yet.
They don't work very well. I bought them to put faces on strawberries I dipped in green candy melts and the ink would not take. The tip of the pen built up with the frosting instead.
I ordered this specifically for the red and of all the colors the red had no dye un it. The felt was white. Like they forgot to fill it. I had to improvise and use a paint brush and food coloring. What are the odds? Lol
I though these were a great idea but I tried using them on sugar cookies and the color was grainy on the cookie it didn't flow easy . What did I do wrong or maybe the pens were old even though I just purchased them ? Went back to royal icing
