My mistake. I clicked on the wrong button. I thought I was ordering 4.25" tart cups. These are a little expensive. Can get 50 white cups for $1 (2 cents each) at another store. These are 3.3 cents each. If you want colored cups, these are nice.
The cups smell HORRIBLE - the chemical smell is so strong, I was wary of even using them. I had to put them (empty) in the oven to burn off some of the fumes before filling them. After I finished baking with them, they left a paint color residue in my muffin pans! I think some quality control is needed here. I will definitely not be buying these again..
Wilton, what's wrong!! It has been 7 years of complaining about your paper cups odor and you still haven't solve this! Just lost a batch because of terrible headache smell and came to goggle to search for other people with same problem. Apparently it's all over internet. Never again I risk your cups and will doubt other products! Should have got other brands. Never had this problem
Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I purchased these liners - Although there is no chemical smell, the red liners stained my cupcake pan. Has it left a toxic residue? I expect I will just toss the liners...I have never given a bad review before but in this case, I am concerned about the possible health issues and thought Wilton should know.
I purchased the 150 rainbow cupcake liners yesterday. Just opened the package and the liners smell TERRIBLE. Smells like paint. Very surprised at Wilton. Thought you were better than that! What happened to your quality control? I now see others have complained months ago about the same exact problem. Wish I would have seen reviews prior to purchasing but would never think Wilton would have anything but top quality. These should have been pulled off the shelves!
These had a strong chemical odor. I was worried about using them for muffins but didn't have other papers so I used them. The muffins had a chemical taste that was really strong and they had to be thrown out. My ingredients are gluten-free and very expensive, and these particular muffins are difficult to make, so I was out a lot of time and money. It should be illegal to adulterate people's food with noxious chemicals!
Was very disappointed in these liners. I removed the muffins to cool and found stains left by the liners. Tried Bar Keepers Friend to remove stains but them did not budge. Now my practically new Wilton heavy duty muffin tins are purple and green. Very disappointed in this product.
These smell awful. You should not be selling these, and should pull them from the shelves. I'm wary to buy anything Wilton after this.
Just bought these for first time. Opened the container to a strong odor. Checked all the colors and it was the same all around. Check on line about this and reviews say bad chemical smell and heating in oven makes it 10 times stronger. Ruins cupcake flavors. Wilton has a good rep but these are a big NO .
The Wilton multi colored cupcake papers have a chemical smell that ended up tainting my cupcakes. I had to toss them out. I will never buy this product again.
