overall great smoker. Sturdier then most similar smokers. @ drawer design is very helpful. Lower drawer sticks some but easily fixed with a grinder. Need some sort of seal to stop the smoke leaks but no different then other similar smokers. If you are in the market this is a great smoker as long as you are willing to pay the extra $$. GLAD I DID. I have had 4 other smokers and not paid this much but you get what you pay for.

Had purchased an electric smoker when my old gas one broke and i couldn't get parts to fix. Was very dissatisfied with the results. Ordered the Landsmann thru walmart. My first use was smoking a brisket it came out as one of the best things I have smoked. I love the doors for water and fire they make it so much easier. This is a 30" model, I think the smaller models smoke better.

Very Nice Smoker

I used this smoker for the first time yesterday after I seasoned it two weeks ago. I was not disappointed. I smoked some blue fish and the flavor was fantastic. The smoker ran for over two hours on the first load of hickory. The temperature holds nicely. I did notice that some smoke was escaping from the bottom of the door but not much. I am now going to put on some ribs and a pork butt. The flavor was unbelievable....... My wife could not stop eating the wonderful smokey fish filets. I love using this thing. Putting it together was a breeze, everything was packaged and labeled.. If you want a good smoker this is your machine....you will love it as much as i do....

I received the smoker 5 days ahead of schedule. The cardboard box was in excellent condition and the smoker was well protected with foam and metal corner pieces. I was plesantly surprise by the materials quality of this item. As i started to inventory the part list I noticed that the hardware was well packed and cushioned to prevent any damage, I also noticed that the hardware was sub-divided inside individual bags and labeled alphabetically, this made the assembly process so much easier. I tell you it took less than an hour to have this puppy smoking away. I'm sessoning the smoker now will tell you how it goes.

Landmann propane smoker

Works great but the 2 drawers are made cheap and hard to work. We've used it several times and can't beat the ribs, pork butt, and beef brisket we've cooked in it.

Igniter needs an update

They need to change there igniter control. It stripped out first time I tried to light it.

Easy to assemble. Good instructions. Packaging was well constructed. The only real problem that I had was when I used it for the first time to cook on that there was a fair amount of distortion/expansion. I found it difficult to open the smoke chip drawer as the plate underneath which separates the burner had slightly buckled. The main door on the cooking area hung up on the drawer for the water tray and had to be lifted to open. The temp during cooking never exceeded 225F so the heat wasn't excessive on the metal. The problems were not the end of the world but buyer beware!

Haven't used but once not happy so far.

Arrived with small dents and door already had rust on it where there was a paint bubble, box was in bad shape so I couldn't take it to near by store to return ( too much Hassle )! I'll paint the door myself of course using primer first. Water pan hard to push back in ,water spills.

Horrible customer service at Landmann

Purchased this smoker about 4 years ago, regulator went out and found out I had to get the entire front panel plus the regulator replaced. Landmann told me they were out of the part, were not intending to stock the part ever again, and told me just to google and try to find the part from another supplier which is pretty much impossible. Will never buy another Landmann product again.
