Having had a Lifeproof Fre for every iPhone over the last decade I notice a nice continuous improvement: smaller, better more secure snap closure, better coating of the camera protection glass, easier to clean camera glass, wider opening suits non-Apple charging cables. Great! The only downside is that my ultra clear gorilla glass protector (that I want for office use when I use a leather Apple case) is thin, but thicker than an old fashioned foil, making the Fre's screen foil bubble up, which forces you to more firmly touch the screen
I bought this to replace the life proof FRE for iPhone X that I bought for my iPhone Xs. The old one that I had didn't fit my phone right even though it was advertised as compatible for both iPhone X and Xs. When I received this product the gasket was not installed so I personally installed it myself. I wouldn't try to submerge this in water for that fact however with the old case I ran it through warm water to clean it and no harm was done to the case nor phone. I like the black and gray as the dirt tends to stain other colors (aka my old case). It's not easy to clean the dirt off the rubber portion (front of case) which is why the black is more appealing to me. Being in the military and having to do field training exercises this case works in those harsh environments. I wish they made the black with gray for the iPhone X so I could get it for my husband
I bought this for my brother who broke his iPhone 2 times within a month. He loves thesis new Life Proof case. After getting this case his iPhone fell in a water cup in his truck. He did not realize it till 4 hours later and it was fine. Thanks LifeProof.
Glad this case got here before my beach trip because my phone definitely got wet in the ocean and survived! Love how thin it is and it fits in my pocket still while being so protective.
The case is sturdy and slim. Perfect for protecting my phone and keeping a low profile in my pocket.

I bought this almost a month ago, so far it's withstood a few tumbles from being thrown across the room by a toddler, falling out of the diaper bag, & a few drool-filled moments of being what my little one thinks is a chew toy. No complaints there! The only thing that annoys me a little bit is the screen protector itself; right in the middle near my iPhone keyboard, it sags I'd say & produces what looks like a wet spot/rainbow-like trail. I tried cleaning both screens (iPhone & case), making sure it's dry as dry can be but no luck. Other than that I'm confident my phone's in good protection & the color combo is subtle & beautiful.
I bought this case for my new iPhone Xs. The "buttons" on the sides of the case which correlate with the buttons on the phone are exceptionally difficult to press. Given the fact that on the new iPhoneXs you must press the right side button and a volume button simultaneously to turn the phone off, it makes this function very difficult. In addition on the left side of the phone there is a volume silence button to prevent the phone from ringing and correspondingly, there is a matching button on the case. This button on the case is not properly aligned so that my phone's ringer has been off when the case is on. I have had to take the case off and replace it several times to get the buttons lined up correctly. A major pain-- it caused me to miss several important business calls. Lastly, I guess the case is supposed to fit tightly but taking it off and putting it on is not easy.
Are you serious?!? It has only been a month since I bought it and still don't have it! Hard to rate it wouldn't you say? But I can rate the shipping and customer response. Prob be going with a diff manufacturer for my next case. Sorry, truth sometimes hurts.
I bought this to use on a holiday at Christmas and it's useless. The inner waterproof seal fell out as soon as I opened the case to install my phone and won't go back in so effectively it's absokutely useless.
