We were very happy with this item, even though it included the balloons, we contacted a local decorating merchant and had them make a balloon arch from one box to the other and then used the balloons that accompanied the boxes to fill the boxes. We received a lot of compliments!
This is a great "anchoring" piece for a movie or Oscar-themed party. It's large, and creates a "wow" impression. I wish I had splurged on two boxes, and made the popcorn balloon arch, too. My only complaint: the square cardboard piece it came with for the shelf was 2 inches too small. I read the directions, and it was supposed to be 24" square; the piece included in my set was 22" square so it sat way too far down in the box to be a useful shelf. So, I had to cut my own piece. I'm guessing this was a one-time error.
