This was a very good purchase and items are made very well. All the necessary pieces were packed properly and the instructions were easy to follow.
I have not completed them as of yet. They will be gift for my great grandchildren

The patterns are cute and I look forward to starting. The cons are that it doesn't come w/ a cross stitch hoop which is needed- so its not a completely complete set . So I'll have to go buy one to even begin using the kit. And the instructions are not easy to understand or detailed enough at all . And the fabric is not precut, so you do have to do a lot of measuring and cutting yourself.
The stitching part is pretty easy. I think that the designs are very detailed for being so small. However, I found them rather tricky to assemble. The instructions say to pull the fabric around the back and secure with fabric glue, let dry, then attach the cording with glue and let dry, then attach the felt backing and glue and let dry. While waiting for the glue to dry in between steps, the fabric pulls away because it's not dry yet! I have only done 2 to completion and am still trying to figure out the best way for assembly.
The kit was poorly put together. The floss (thread) were difficult to separate plus it was missing a color (all 4 yards of the light gold). The instructions were also not clear, no step by step pictures plus you will have to make a copy of the pattern (for the stockings) instead of just cutting it directly from the sheet because the sheet was printed back to back with the instructions for the designs. I would return this kit if I could but unfortunately I have already opened the package and used it for 1 stocking which fortunately did not need the missing floss color.
