I recently bought an XBox One, against the advice of friends & family, and ended up returning it the next morning. Pure garbage! I bought the PS4 and was impressed at how fast & easy it was to set up, then it was ready to play within a matter of minutes, unlike the XBox One, which was over 6 1/2 hours of set-up time including updates and a single game loading. The PS4 took less than 20 minutes from taking out of the box to playing a game. I highly recommend this console!!
The whole family is having fun with this game console.
It has proven to be an excellent gaming console! And, having enabled the Bluray/DVD playback, it's great for movies! I could not get the WiFi to connect to my router, so I can't utilize the Media and can't review how well it works. I kept my PS3 for that just in case, and have had no problems with that arrangement. The bundle I received came with a voucher for TLOU, which downloaded fine while I had it connected via a LAN connection, which I also utilized to enable the Bluray/DVD playback, but wouldn't play when I relocated it away from the LAN connection. So, for a game console, it's great. For Bluray/DVD it's great...for the various Media platforms available, unless you can connect via LAN or are fortunate enough to get it to connect, don't count on that aspect of the console.

This was a great purchase! We have had the ps3 and we are ok with that as it had a lot to do on it but once we bought the ps4 we were blown away by what it all has! The picture on it and graphics are amazing! Definitely a well worth it game system! I would recommend it to anyone!
This PlayStation 4 is the console this generation that Sony ever made in history. the User Interface is clean and fast. The way Sony engineered and design the console was really surprising to me because it looks awesome.
