Totally unique equipment. Had to buy it seperately from the throttle since the combo was sold out (loophole). Regardless, the best joystick/throttle around.
With the software supplied by Thrustmaster, you have several configuration options other than the standards that both come with the Joystick and downloadable. It feels like a real stick and response time is great.
I was the very first person in Canada to get both the stick and throttle about 10 years ago. I fly DCS World an average of 3 times a week, usually for 2 or more hours at a time. (I'm with a squadron.) That's about 3,000 flight hours over 10 years. I'm on my second gaming computer but I am just now ready to replace the stick due to wearing out of internal parts. This stick is very expensive. Yup, I won't fly without it. :D
Pros: Heavy, Sturdy, No "wobble", high quality. Cons: No twist rudder, very stiff when compared to other sticks, buttons are harder to push. That said, this is one of the highest quality sticks there are. It's very precise, the body of the stick itself is made of metal and can be easily detached from the base. The cylindrical base can be removed from the base plate to be mounted somewhere else. There is also a 2nd stick for the base, this one based on the F/A-18C (sold separately).
